1. Who We Are
Santa On The Line (the "Service") is operated by the Santa On The Line team. The Service lets a grown-up set up a short live video visit with a festive character for a child.
We are a parent-facing service. Only a grown-up should create an account, add funds, or start a visit. Children do not have accounts.
2. Information We Collect
Account information: the grown-up's email address, sign-in state, and any purchased visit balance.
Visit information: the persona you choose (Santa, Tooth Fairy, Cheat Champion, etc.), the start and end time of each visit, the duration, any short summary points generated about the visit, and the text transcript of what was said during the visit so the grown-up can review it afterward.
Payment information: we use Stripe to process payments. We do not store full card numbers. We receive and store a record of each transaction so we can credit your visit balance and show it on your receipts.
Technical information: IP address, browser type, operating system, and error logs, which we use to keep the Service secure and working.
3. How We Use Information
To run the live visit, show it in your browser, and save the transcript for you to review.
To keep your purchased Gold Coins attached to the right grown-up account.
To prevent abuse of the free trial and enforce fair-use limits.
To send transactional emails such as magic-link sign-in links and receipts.
To operate, secure, and improve the Service.
4. Children
The Service is intended for use by parents and guardians with their own children present. Only grown-ups sign up and pay.
We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. Audio from a child speaking during a live visit is processed in real time to make the visit work, and the resulting text transcript is shown to the grown-up afterward.
5. Sharing Information
We share information with service providers that help us run the Service, including hosting (Vercel), authentication and database (Supabase), payments (Stripe), email delivery (Resend), and real-time avatar and voice infrastructure used to power the visits.
We do not sell personal information and do not run advertising on the Service.
We may share information if required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of users or third parties.
6. Your Choices
You can ask us to delete your account and associated transcripts by emailing support.
You can end a visit at any time by closing the browser tab or using the end-visit button.
