Terms of Service

1. The Service

Santa On The Line provides short live video visits between a festive character and a child, supervised by a grown-up. The Service may add, change, limit, or remove features at any time.

2. Eligibility & Grown-Up Supervision

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, add funds, or start a visit.

The Service is intended for use with a child present and with the grown-up supervising the visit. Do not leave a child unattended during a visit.

3. Accounts

We sign you in with a magic-link email. You are responsible for keeping access to your email secure. All activity under your account is your responsibility.

We may suspend or terminate an account if we believe it is being misused, automated, or used to abuse the free trial.

4. Payments, Gold Coins, and Refunds

Visits are paid using Gold Coins you purchase through Stripe. Purchased Gold Coins stay on the parent account that bought them and are non-transferable between accounts.

If a visit fails on our side (for example, the avatar could not connect), write to support and we will credit or refund the affected Gold Coins.

Stripe processes all payments. We do not see or store full card numbers.

5. Acceptable Use

Do not use the Service to threaten, harm, scare, harass, deceive, or abuse anyone.

Do not attempt to impersonate the Service, a real person, or another brand in a way that could mislead a child or a third party.

Do not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, resell, or redistribute the Service.

6. Your Content

During a visit, audio from the grown-up or child is processed in real time to power the visit, and a text transcript is saved so the grown-up can review it afterward.

You keep ownership of your content. You grant us a limited license to process, store, and display that content only as needed to provide the Service to you.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is." We do not promise that visits will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free.

The characters are fictional and for entertainment only.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
